Toyota Salesman

Rule 1, Inspect your Toyota Avanza when deliver to you, do not sign the document of acceptance until you are satisfy the car is in order - air condition, power window etc.

Rule 2, You have to constantly call the Salesman when your Toyot Avanza will be deliver the car, sometimes the Salesman might be playing dirty by giving the car to those who willing to offer under table money.

Rule 3, Do not get the Salesman service to install Toyota Avanza accessories, normally it will more expensive then you get it by yourself.

Rule 4, Do not engage with the Salesman to get car registration number, it is recommended that you get it by yourself as you will be the one to decide the car registration number.

Rule 5, lastly, the survey form on your Salesman from UMW Toyota, please fill them up and send back to UMW Toyota in order for UMW Toyota to improve their services further.

Toyota Avanza Logo Theft

I was a victim of the recent accident which my Toyota Avanza logo was stolen. I went around in KL to search for the Toyota logo, everywhere is out of stock!, at last I got it from shop in Kepong that sells the Toyota Avanza logo, but I suspected these Toyota Avanza logos on sale by the shop are stollen items but I have not choice but to purchase the logo to save guard my car or else the bonet can be open easily.

I have try myself to figure out how easy to remove the logo, it only takes less than 5 minutes. My advice to those Toyota Avanza owners out there, do be extra caution, maybe for a start, apply super glue at Toyota Avanza logo to prevent from been stollen.

This Toyota Avanza Logo Theft has become rampant.

Toyota Avanza

The Toyota Avanza (Daihatsu Xenia build on the same platform ) is a mini MPV designed and produced in Indonesia and also assembled in Malaysia[citation needed], with supervision from Toyota, who also sells the car under their Daihatsu brand. The car was launched at the Gaikindo Auto Expo in 2003 and sold over 100,000 units that year. The name "Avanza" was taken from the Italian word avanzato, which means "advance".

The Avanza is a new model developed as a low premier MPV to split the Toyota Kijang to two different models; the other being the Toyota Innova, which is of higher-spec and aimed at a higher market.

In addition to Indonesia and Malaysia, the Avanza is sold in Brunei, Bangladesh, Egypt, Lebanon, Pakistan, Philippines, South Africa, Thailand, Mexico (the only North American country to sell it, although the unrelated and similar Scion xB is sold in the United States and Canada) and China.
