UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd (UMW Toyota) introduced the new Toyota Avanza recently. This is a new generation of the sucessful seven seater multi-purpose vehicle (MPV). Price list for the Avanza 1.3 is at RM64, 590, the 1.5E at RM72, 590, the 1.5G at RM77, 290 and the 1.5S at RM79, 590. Prices stated are including insurance, for metallic colours. All vehicles come with three years or 100,000 kilometre warranty, whichever comes first.
Equipped with 3SZ-VE 1.5-litre VVTi engine, it has a capacity to deliver 103 PS of maximum power at 136 Nm of torque. The 1.5S, 1.5G, 1.5E mated with a four-speed auto transmission. Another one is equipped with K3-VE 1.3-litre VVTi engine; it has a capacity to deliver 91 PS of maximum power at 117 Nm of torque. It is mated with a five-speed manual transmission.
